Cleaning and Storage

CAUTION!
❐ Never fully immerse the Christmas tree stand or the remote control in water or other
liquids.
❐ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the article. These could dam-
age the surface.
• As required, wipe down the Christmas tree stand with a damp cloth.
• Keep the Christmas tree stand in a clean, dry place, out of the reach of children and
animals, if you are not planning to use it for a prolonged period.

Troubleshooting

If the article should stop working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself. If you are not, contact the customer service department (see the "Cus-
tomer Service" chapter).
Do not try to repair a faulty article yourself!
Problem
The LED lights do not light
up.
The tree is unstable and
wobbles.
Possible cause/solution
• Have you inserted batteries in the Christmas tree stand
and the remote control?
• Are the batteries in the Christmas tree stand or the
remote control too weak? Replace the batteries if
necessary.
• The remote control is not within range of the LED
lights. Move a bit closer to the Christmas tree stand and
try pressing the On/Off button again.
• Is the locking element in the closed holding position?
• Has the locking pin been inserted?
• Does the tree trunk have the right diameter? The
Christmas tree stand is suitable for trees with trunks of
4-10 cm.
