Belt Replacement Procedure <AW3 Series, AW4 Series>
In case you find that the belt is cut, frayed or excessively dirty
during the daily inspection, we recommend that you purchase a
belt replacement kit and carry out the replacement following the
procedure below.
l Box-end wrench (8 mm)
The tools on the
right are required
for this procedure.
Removal
*The illustration shows AW3(forward facing type). The changing procedure of AW4 series is the same.

Using the hex key and the box-end wrench, remove the hex socket bolt fixing the belt cover, the cap nut and belt cover.

Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove
the four screws at the back of the guard.

Caution
Do not lose the four screws
removed from the back of the guard
as they will be reused.
Remove the belt
cover.
Remove the hex
socket bolt fixing
the belt cover
(The bolt should
be disposed)
Box-end wrench

Pull the guard front cover toward you to remove it, and pull the belt
out while pressing the release button.

Remove the lock base from the guard front cover.

l Hex key (2.5 mm)

Always inspect the new part after
replacement following the daily
inspection instructions.
l Phillips screwdriver No.2
Remove the cap nut
(keep it to reuse it)
Caution
Do not lose the cap nut as
it will be reused.
