DNR

Sometimes it is not possible to input a high-quality TV signal.
The actually inputted signal is noisy, e.g. a noisy, analogue cable
TV signal. DNR can somewhat improve any interference caused
by the faulty input signal.
1
Select DNR, then press ENTER.
Then press
or
to select OFF,
LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH.
2
Repeat step 1 to set other values, or press EXIT to return to
the normal screen.
The interferences from the imput are suppressed most if
HIGH is set. This could result in side-effects such as loss of
sharpness and smearing.

Blue back

You can set the TV to automatically change to a blue screen and
mute the sound if the signal is weak or absent.
1
Select BLUE BACK, then press
ENTER.
Then press
or
to select ON
or OFF.
2
Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.

Rec screen status (LCD Power on/off)

This function is used in conjunction with the Timer function that
is included as part of the Digital EPG. It determines whether the
TV screen switches on or not when a programmed Timer setting
begins - see page 45 for further details.
1
Select REC SCREEN STATUS, then
press ENTER.
Press
or
to select ON or OFF,
then press ENTER.
