Answering system

Delete all messages

Press X/DELETE when the phone s not n use. The system wll announce "To
delete all old messages, press DELETE again." Press X/DELETE agan. All
prevously heard messages wll be erased.

Record and play memos

Memos are your own recorded messages used as remnders for yourself or others
usng the same answerng system. They are saved, played back and deleted n
the same way as ncomng messages.

Record a memo

Press RECORD when the phone s not n use. The system announces, "Record
1.
after the tone. Press STOP when you are done."
2. After the tone, speak towards the mcrophone at the bottom front of the
telephone base from about nne nches away.
3. Press /PLAY/STOP when finished recording. The system will announce
"Recorded."

Memo playback

Press /PLAY/STOP when the phone s not n use. See Options during playback
on page 40 for other optons.
