Troubleshooting
Problem
I cannot put my headset
in discoverable mode.
I cannot find the
LS5145 on my cell.
I don't know how to
search for or add new
devices on my cell
phone.

• Refer to the user's manual of your headset for nformaton on how to set your headset n
dscoverable mode. For many headsets, they are by default n dscoverable mode. For other
headsets, you may have to turn on the headset and press and hold the call button for a certan
tme perod.
• Make sure that the headset s not connected to any other devce(s) n order to successfully par
and connect to the telephone base.
• Carefully follow the parng process on page 21.
• Reset the telephone base. Unplug the unt's electrcal power. Wat for approxmately 15
seconds, then plug t back n. Repeat the above suggestons.
• Make sure that the telephone base s n dscoverable mode. Carefully follow the setup
nstructons on page 20.
• Make sure that you manually set your cell phone to find or search for devices.
• Remove the LS5145 from your cell phone's handsfree devce hstory lst (see the user's
manual of your cell phone for more nformaton).
• Turn off your cell phone, then turn t on agan.
• Reset the telephone base. Unplug the unt's electrcal power and remove any spare batteres.
Wat for approxmately 15 seconds, then plug t back n. Repeat the above suggestons.
• Most cell phones have the Bluetooth feature n the connecton or setup menus. Please refer to
the user's manual of your cell phone.
• In general, press the menu key on your cell phone, then look for the Bluetooth menu, n the
settngs or connecton menu. In the Bluetooth menu, select the opton to search for or add new
devces.
