Maintenance

Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position.
CAUTION
If you leave the key in the ignition switch, someone could accidently start the engine and seriously injure
you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the ignition before you do any maintenance.

Maintenance Procedure
• Torque the wheel lug nuts.
• Change the engine oil.
• Change the engine oil filter.
• Change the hydraulic fluid and filters.
• Check the level of the engine oil.
• Check the level of the hydraulic fluid.
• Check the tire pressure.
• Check the safety interlock system.
• Check the condition of the hydraulic lines and hoses.
• Inspect and clean the machine.
• Torque the wheel lug nuts.
• Grease the machine.
• Change the engine oil (more often in extremely dusty or dirty operating conditions).
• Change the engine oil filter (more often in extremely dusty or dirty operating
conditions).
• Service the spark plugs.
• Check the battery cable connections.
• Replace the air filter (more often in dusty conditions).
• Replace the carbon-canister filter.
• Check and adjust the valve clearance.
• Clean and lap the valve-seating surface.
• Change the hydraulic fluid and filters.
• Replace the fuel filter.
