Switching on and off
To switch the appliance on, move the speed control
switch (1) to the required position.
For a faster burst of speed, press the turbo switch (3) for
a few seconds.
To switch off, return the speed control switch (1) to the
0 'Off' position.
Warning! Do not operate the appliance continuously for
more than 4 minutes. After operating the appliance
continuously for 4 minutes, let it cool down for at least 1
minute before operating it again.
Warning! After switching off always allow the motor to stop
before approaching the beaters/dough hooks.

Cleaning and maintenance

Warning! Switch the appliance off and unplug it before
cleaning or maintenance.
Warning! Do not immerse the appliance, the cord set or the
plug in water or any other liquid.
Wash the attachments in warm soapy water and dry
well.
Wipe the motor housing (4) with a damp cloth. Do not
use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner.
Always clean the appliance immediately after use. Do not let
food dry on to the blades as this will make cleaning difficult.

Protecting the environment

Separate collection. This product must not be
disposed of with normal household waste.
Should you find one day that your Black & Decker product
needs replacement, or if it is of no further use to you, do not
dispose of it with household waste. Make this product
available for separate collection.
