Take care of small parts and observe sequence in which component parts are installed. Set them out in orderly
fashion so that they can be installed again easily in correct sequence.
1. Prop up mobility device using wooden block.

Loosen screws (1).
3. Pull wheel from wheel hub.
4.
Remove battery shroud (1).
5.
Pull off terminal caps (1) and push back to gain access to battery terminals.
6. Loosen clamps.
7. Remove batteries.
8.
To remove motor, front decoupling rod connection (1) must be disconnected. Release retaining ring (1) using small, flat
screwdriver and pull out.
9.
Loosen and remove handscrews (1) on both sides of controls shroud.
10. Remove controls shroud.
