Settings will let you set the phone's defaults,
and you can troubleshoot and control many
of the CaptionCall phone's functions.

Call Defaults

Call Defaults lets you choose to have your captions start automatically, select
your Save Captions preference, override the volume reset and select your
preferred captions language .
Captions
If captions are set to on, they will start
automatically for each call . Captions can
still be turned off during a call by using
the in-call options (see page 16) .
Captioning Language
Select English or Español .
Save Captions
You can choose to save captions for
every call ("Yes"), for no calls ("No"), or
to have the phone ask to save captions
for each call .

Override Volume Reset
Selecting ON disables the safety
feature that reduces the handset
and speakerphone volume to normal
after each call made at a dangerous
volume level .
Volume Boost
Selecting ON enables Volume Boost
and will increase the CaptionCall
phone volume for those who may
need extra amplification.
