General Operation

Switching ON/OFF

While using battery power:
• Press button to switch the unit on.
• Press button again to switch the unit off.
While using mains power:
• Press button to switch the unit on.
• Press button again to switch the unit in Standby mode.
To switch the unit off completely, unplug the power adapter from the mains socket.
• The clock will be updated automatically if you can receive DAB signal in your
location. In order to synchronise to the current local time, you must leave it on
the DAB station for a period of time.
• The LCD display shows the time in STANDBY mode.

Selecting Modes

Press MODE button repeatedly on the unit to switch between DAB and FM mode. The
selected mode will show on the display.
Adjusting the Volume
Turn the –VOLUME+/SELECT dial clockwise/anticlockwise to increase/decrease the
volume.
Adjusting the Brightness
Press the DIMMER/SNOOZE button to select the brightness level.
• The backlight setting is not available in Battery mode.
• In Battery mode, when the unit is idle for about 10 seconds, the backlight of
the display will dim. Press any button to light it up again.

Alarm

Set Alarm On or Off

When the unit is in standby mode, press the ALARM button repeatedly to set the alarm
status of Alarm 1 or Alarm 2. When the display shows Alarm 1 and Alarm 2, turn the –
VOLUME+/SELECT dial to select On or Off. Press the –VOLUME+/SELECT dial to confirm.
The display will show Alarm Saved. The display will show Alarm Not saved if the setting is
not completed.
