TRAMPOLINE SAFETY INFORMATION In trampoline use, as in all active recreational sports, participants can be injured. However, there are steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of injury. In this section, primary accident patterns are identified and the responsibilities of supervisors and jumpers in accident prevention are described. -

METHODS OF ACCIDENT PREVENTION The Supervisor’s Role in Preventing Accidents It is the responsibility of the supervisors of trampoline users to provide knowledgeable and mature supervision. They need to know and enforce all of the rules and warnings printed in this manual to minimize the likelihood of accidents and injuries. -

Assembly requires two persons. Wear gloves to protect your hands from pinch points during assembly. TRAMPOLINE PLACEMENT 1.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE CARE Do not allow pets on the trampoline, as their claws may snag and pull the mat material or damage the frame pad. The trampoline is intended to be used by one person at a time who weighs not more than 200 pounds. The user should be either barefoot, wearing socks, or wearing gymnastic shoes. -

ENCLOSURE SAFETY INFORMATION NEED FOR TRAMPOLINE ENCLOSURE SAFETY A trampoline enclosure is a recreational product. The information on this page and on pages 6-7 identify important safety precautions. The precautions are not all- inclusive, because an enclosure can be used in ways that this manual cannot cover completely. To prevent pinches and cuts during enclosure use, a frame pad must be installed on the trampoline. - Page 17 Hazards Associated with High Winds A trampoline with an enclosure can be moved or blown over by high winds. Anyone in its path, or inside of the enclosure, may be injured if this happens. If you expect high winds, take down the enclosure netting and stake the trampoline frame to the ground (see page15 in the trampoline manual), or move the trampoline and enclosure to a sheltered location.

- Page 19 3. Note: In Step 3 you will secure the Enclosure arches to the frame of the trampoline. Lift one of the arches assembled in Step 2 and insert the two Straight Tubes (6) into the tops of the two trampoline frame Square Sockets (4) as shown. Insert a bolt (2) through the matching holes in the left side Straight Tube (6) and Square Socket (4).
