3. See Figure 4-5. For the highest trimmer setting,
install the quick lock with adapter (C), followed by
both spacers (B) onto the shaft.
4. Place Mow-Ball® bolt into the hex cavity of Mow-
Ball (A).
5. While holding the Mow-Ball bolt head in place turn
Mow-Ball counterclockwise to start the bolt onto
the shaft.
6. Continue turning the Mow-Ball until tight.

1. See Figure 4-6. Remove Mow-Ball (A), quick lock
with adapter (B), and molded spacers (C) from
shaft. Do not remove anti-wrap canister. See

4. Clean all plates using a nylon brush and clean rag.
5. Inspect springs and cams for damage. If any parts
are damaged, contact Generac Customer Service

6. Reinstall springs and locking cams and verify
springs and cams are seated fully into plate grooves.
