Section 3: Operation

WARNING
Personal injury. Never use this machine for other than the
intended purpose of trimming, mowing grass, weeds, and
other growth as specified in the Owner's manual. Failure to
do so could result in serious injury or equipment damage.
WARNING
Personal injury. Never put hands, face, feet, or clothing
under the deck or near the discharge area while the
unit is running. Doing so could result in death or
serious injury.
WARNING
Accidental startup. Shut engine OFF, allow to cool, and
remove plug wire before clearing debris from trimmer
guard. Failure to do so could result in death or serious
injury.
WARNING
Projectile risk. Remove all debris from work area
before operating unit. Failure to do so could result in
death, serious injury, or property or equipment
damage.
WARNING
Projectile risk. Be aware of surroundings at all times when
operating unit. Disengage mower blades if people or animals
enter the work space. Failure to do so could result in death,
serious injury, or property damage.

fencing, wires, ropes, and hoses. These can become

uneven terrain or slopes. Failure to do so could result
in death, serious injury, equipment or property
damage.
CAUTION
Equipment damage. Clear the engine of grass and
debris before each use. Failure to do so could result
in engine damage.

Before Starting Engine

IMPORTANT NOTE: Oil must be added before start-
ing the engine for the first time. Units are shipped
without oil. Do not overfill.
