Installing the grid
(Fig. 10)
• Use the 4 heat shield screws to attach the grid retainers to the
sides of the insert in the same holes as the ones where the
heat shields are attached. NB: If you remove a heat shield, see
pt. 3 "Preparation/installation" in this manual.
• The side grid is hooked onto the grid retainers by moving the
two pins down through the holes in the tops and bottoms of
the grid retainers (Fig. 10).
• Where necessary, rotate the side grid into the correct position
and move the lock down to the hearth floor. This is done from
the outside of the grids using a screwdriver. (Fig. 16)
• Use a pencil to mark where the lock meets the hearth floor.
Turn the side grids back slightly.
Drill a 10 mm deep hole (Ø8-10mm) at the pencil mark.

• Move the side grids back into the correct position and move
the grid lock down into the hole (Fig. 16).
• Screw the bottom grid into position using 2 tapping screws
4.8x19mm (Fig. 12).
• Screw the top grid into position using 2 tapping screws 4.8x19mm
(Fig. 15).
