So when you are in the Sequencer and you are getting the Program
Changes correctly but are not getting any Bank Change messages, this is
a sure symptom that your software is not sending the GM MODE ON
message. So here's what to do:
1) Go into SONG PLAY Mode.
2) Press UTILITY (F8)
3) You'll see a command for GM Initialize. Do this.
4) Now go back to UTILITY and you'll see another command for Save
Template Song. Do this, saving the "GM Template" to any of your 16
User Templates.
5) Now go into SEQ Mode.
6) Press UTILITY (F8)
7) You'll see a command for Load Template Song. Load your new GM
Template.
8) Now you've got a totally GM-ready multi-timbral environment!
