10. Drain the hydraulic reservoir.
– Loosen the return line clamp, 1.
– Remove the return line at 2, and rotate the
line into a suitable drain pan.
11. Remove the fender, 1, on the side the motor is
being removed from. Remove the final drive
cover, 2, to access the parking brake. Engage the
parking brake.
12. For more access to the final drive, remove the
tires and loosen the rear axle retaining hardware.
Slide the axle to the center to loosen the drive
chain. Loosen the brake disk retaining bolt, 3.
Disengage the parking brake at this time.
13. Remove the brake caliper bolts, 2, from inside
the unit and remove the disk from the splined
coupler.
