LIFE TIME OF THE CONSUMABLE PARTS

Following are the reference of the life times of the consumable parts.
Lamp ....................................Max. 4,000 hours (When LAMP MODE is LOW.)
CW .......................................Approx. 8,000 hours
Cooling fan ...........................Approx. 5,000 hours
Cooling fan (optical) .............Approx. 10,000 hours
See "ADC ADJUSTMENT" in the ELCTADJ fi le.
There are some internal error codes here.
Error code 0 means No failure or unknown failure.
Error code 1 means overheating failure.
Error code 4 means outer fan failure on the front cover.
Error code 8 means blower or fan failure on the optical engine.
Error code 16 means central fan failure on the front cover.
Error code 32 means color wheel failure.
Error code 128 means lamp failure.
Example. If error code is 144, what we know from this?
Step 1. Change the 144 to 10010000 (decimal to binary system)
Step 2. 10010000 combines from 10000000 or 00010000.
Step 3. Convert 10000000 and 00010000 to 128 and 16 (binary to decimal system) respectively.
Step 4. So we know that this device has ever happened color wheel and lamp failure from the last
reset all setting. But we don't know which events happen fi rst.
Let all parameters go back to default. This reset is much more powerful than the factory reset un-
der the end-user interface.
Control the outer fan on the front cover. Keep the default value. Don't change it.
Control the blower or fan on the optical engine. Keep the default value. Don't change it.
Control the central fan on the front cover. Keep the default value. Don't change it.
Choose the Burn-in pattern or ADC calibration
The thermal sensor has ever detected the highest temperature from the last reset all setting.
The thermal sensor has ever detected the highest temperature from the last reset all setting.
How many cycles to run the burn-in pattern chosen under Test Pattern.
See "C/W DELAY ADJUSTMENT" in the ELCTADJ fi le.
