6.2.2 Installing the flush mounted box in a cavity wall

Insert the flush-mounted box and lead the Ethernet-,
KNX- and power supply cables through the holes in the
flush-mounted box�
■
Screw the flush-mounted box to the wall�
■
The flush-mounted box must be flush with the wall at the
end�
During the filling of the edges, the template can be used as a splash guard.
In order to install the flush-mounted box flush into a cavity
wall, the mounting corners are installed approx� 2 mm deep�
Therefore, calculate 3 mm for the total depth to the depth of
your flush-mounted box�
■
Mark the required recess on the wall as shown in the
picture�
■
Make a recess in the wall according to your mark�
■
Install separate mounting corners in a 2 mm distance from
the wall�
■
Insert the flush-mounted box and lead the Ethernet-, KNX-
and power supply cables through the holes in the flush-
mounted box�
■
Fasten the flush-mounted box with four screws in the
corners so that it is flush with the wall�
