1. Target audience
These instructions serve to explain basic aspects of the installation and commis-
sioning of the Controlpro�
Commissioning
Since the manual assumes basic knowledge about KNX- and electrical installa-
tion, it is aimed specifically at trained personnel (qualified electricians) and sys-
tem integrators�
Operation
The operation of the commissioned panel is also possible for unskilled users�
Repair
If damage should occur to the device, please contact our technical support imme-
diately, see chapter 8.3�
2. Intended use
■
Use as control panel for KNX-controlled devices,

as intercom station
■
Touch operation
■
Indoor operation, note the ambient conditions, see chapter 9.
The following applications are not part of the intended use:

Operation in systems requiring special monitoring, in safety-relevant areas or
in hazardous areas�
■
Operation under ambient conditions that do not comply with the specifications
regarding temperature and air humidity� These include

Outdoor operation

Operation under direct sunlight

Operation in a moving environment (e�g� mobile homes)
■
Operation in vessels�
■
Operation of the device by children�
