The fan housing can only be used with the front panel, which protects from contact on the suction side.
Depending on the installations conditions, protection from contact on the other side may also be required and
appropriate protective covers are available. Ventilators protected automatically due to the installation conditions
(e.g. installed on ventilation ducts) do not require protective covers if they are appropriately protected. Please
note that it is up to the user to preserve e ective standards and that the user may be liable for unfortunate
accidents resulting from inadequate protection.
Before installing the ventilator:
- remove foreign objects from the ventilator's interior;
- check if the rotor moves freely by setting it in motion manually.
- It is recommended to connect the ventilator to the duct system with a exible tube.

Electrical connection

ATTENTION! The operating rotor can crush ngers. Please x protective cover before start.
- The electrical connection and initial start can be performed only by authorised professional electricians in
accordance with the data in the attached connection plans.
- Appropriate standards, safety regulations, and technical conditions of the electrical energy provider must be
unconditionally followed!
- In this case, it is necessary to use a multipole switch/isolation switch with contact pin of minimum 3 mm (PN-EN
60335-1:2012)!
- The network type, current, and frequency must comply with the information on the rating plate.
Carefully lead the cable through the culvert (cut out as required in advance).
Connect according to the connection schematic of the appropriate model.
Check connection cable for sealing and wire grip.
If the culvert of the installed connection does not evenly cover the cable in the coat, provide additional sealing
with e.g. silicone. Otherwise the IP protection expires.
The connection cable must be secured to prevent penetration of spilled water. Do not lead the cable on sharp
edges.
Check if the ventilator is used according to its intent!
Compare the network current with the rating plate.
Inspect the ventilator for stable mounting and professional electrical installation.
Make sure that the rotor moves freely.
Make sure that all parts are strongly xed.
Make sure that the contact protection is in place.
The device can only be started when contact protection is in place!
During the test run, check the ventilator for vibrations and noise.
Compare the power uptake with the data on the rating plate.
The device can be started only after making sure that all safety precautions are in place and there are no hazards.
After starting, please make sure that the device is operating smoothly and the air ows properly (from the
channel to the outside).
Monitor the operating ventilator (noise, vibrations, power uptake, rotation control).

Installation method

Before the installation, precisely determine the spot where the fan housing will be installed.
Its dimensions (mm) are presented on the technical diagrams on the product's packaging.
