General Safety:
WARNING!

Any persons not involved in the work,
should leave the area.
Cutting, especially when DRY cutting, generates dust that comes from the material being cut, which frequently
contains silica. Silica is a basic component of sand, quartz, brick clay, granite and numerous other minerals and
rocks. Exposure to excessive amount of such dust can cause:
Respiratory diseases (affecting your ability to breath), including chronic bronchitis, silicosis and pulmonary
fibrosis from exposure to silica. These diseases may be fatal;
Skin irritation and rash; and
Cancer according to NTP* and IARC*
* National Toxicology Program, International Agency for Research on Cancer
Take precautionary steps
Avoid inhalation of and skin contact with dust, mist and fumes;
Wet cut when feasible, to minimize dust;
Wear and ensure that all bystanders wear appropriate respiratory protection such as dust masks designed
to filter out microscopic particles. (See OSHA 29 CFR Part 1910.1200)
Use of this product can cause exposure to materials known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth
defects or other reproductive harm.


SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Operator must wear
personal protective
equipment & cloth-
ing appropriate to
the work he is doing.
Personal protective
equipment, such as
hearing, eye, and re-
spiratory protection, is
mandatory.
DUST WARNING
California Prop 65 Warning:
The working area must be completely
clear, well lit and all safety hazards
removed.
Do not use machine in flammable area.
Do not smoke while operating machine.
WARNING!
Always unplug machine before attaching / re-
moving cutting tools, accessories, or performing
maintenance.
Do not contact rotating parts when machine is in
operation.
Operate only when base is properly secured with
an anchor, or vacuum.
DO NOT stand on base during operation!
When coring through floors, cores may drop from
bit. Provide proper protection for people / prop-
erty below the coring area.
ALWAYS check work area for hidden hazards
before operation! Hidden hazards may include
buried electrical , gas, sewer, or water lines below
or inside the work surface.
Sound power level, pressure level, and vibration
level will vary depending on the motor and bit
combination used with this machine.
