2. Enter the speed dial directory number or extension number to
which you want to connect this extension when the handset is
lifted. Then press save. The display responds as follows.

3. Select if this destination is to be immediate or delayed.
If you select immediate, the system plays a confirmation tone.
4. If you select delay, the display responds as follows.
(( ))
5. Press chg to select the delay time you want to use (in seconds).

2.2.18 USING STATUS MESSAGES

You can use a display message to inform other users of the current
status of your extension. There are six programmed messages and
one custom message that you can use. Whenever another user calls
an extension with an active Status message, the system displays the
message at the calling extension.
To set up a status message, perform the following steps.
1. While the extension is idle, press Func + 9 + 0. The display
shows the first message choice (custom).
