Status LED

The green status LED, when lit, indicates a position is connected to a powered NI PXIe-4339
module. The location of the Status LED is shown in Figure 5.

PFI0

The PFI0 connector provides a female BNC connection to the PFI trigger line of the
NI PXIe-4339. The RM-4339 passes this signal directly through. Refer to the NI PXIe-4339
User Manual for more information about using the PFI trigger line. Refer to Table 6 for signal
names and descriptions.

External Shunt

The 25-pin D-SUB connector is used to attach the optional SCAL-4339 Shunt Calibration
Accessory.
The SCAL-4339 Shunt Calibration Accessory allows a user to provide an external shunt
calibration resistor in place of the built-in 100 kΩ SCA shunt calibration resistor. Through
software configuration, the user provided resistors on the SCAL-4339 Shunt Calibration
Accessory can be connected to the SCA terminal pairs of the RJ50 connectors. Eight pairs of
through hole sockets are provided on the SCAL-4339 Shunt Calibration Accessory for installing
the user provided resistors. Figure 6 illustrates opening the SCAL-4339 and installing resistors.
