Setting Up the Installation Session

This section describes how to set up a local or remote installation session.
A local OS installation is performed at the server. A remote OS installation is performed using
the Oracle ILOM Remote Console Plus application, and a redirected CD/DVD drive, CD ISO
image, or USB image.
Task
Review the OS installation task table.
Get the installation documentation.
Setup for the installation based on your selected
installation method.
Prepare the BIOS by loading the optimal default
values, and selecting a BIOS mode.
Install and update the OS.
