Cleaning the Air filter

For proper performance and long life, keep the air filter clean.
1. Move choke knob to CHOKE position (See Cold Start
section of manual) to prevent dirt and debris from entering
carburetor.
2. Remove the air cleaner cover by turning the cover fastener
counter-clockwise. Brush away any accumulated dirt from
the air filter cover area.
3. Inspect and clean the air filter. To reassemble make
sure the filter fits in the cavity and reinstall the filter as
shown. Fasten the air filter cover by turning the fasteners
clockwise.

fuel Cap

Check for fuel leaks. A leaking fuel cap is a fire hazard and
must be replaced immediately. If you find any leaks, correct
the problem before using the product. Failure to do so could
result in a fire that could cause serious personal injury.

Spark Plug

1. Remove spark plug and check for worn and rounded center
electrode.
2. Clean, adjust or replace with a new spark plug per gap
specifications below.

engine at least 3 minutes after adding stabilizer.
When storing longer than a month:
– Drain all fuel from tank into a container approved for
