Possible Cause
A user waypoint from the GNS
could not be created because the
user waypoint catalog is full.
Waypoint transfer failed/
incomplete.
The GTN Xi unit's internal data
storage has become corrupt or
nonfunctional.
The GTN Xi unit's internal data
storage has been removed or
has become nonfunctional.
User Waypoint import failed due
to improper format.
The GTN Xi is not
communicating with the remote
LRU.
Corrective Action
Remove some of the waypoints from the
catalog to make room for the waypoints
from the GNS.
The data transfer should be reattempted.
Contact Garmin technical support.
Contact Garmin technical support.
Ensure the media has the correct file
format. Refer to Guideline for GTN Flight
Plan and User Waypoint Files.
If the problem persists, contact Garmin
technical support for service.
Ensure remote LRU is powered on. Check
wiring and configuration.
