4 Installing/Routing External Alarm Cables
One end of the alarm input cable is connected to the ALMI
interface, and the other end of the cable is connected to
the external device.

Overhead cabling
The alarm output cable is used to output the alarm signals to the central
alarm monitoring equipment. One end of the alarm output cable is
connected to the ALMO interface on a CXP board, and the other end of
the cable is connected to the central alarm monitoring device. When any of
the ALMO1 and ALMO2 interfaces functions as the alarm output interface,
the other one can be used as the alarm concatenation interface.

NOTE
1. The alarm input/output cable is routed
through the cable trough either in
overhead cabling or underfloor cabling
mode.
2. There are 3 cable ties between
installation slots on the PIU or PSU.
Route the alarm input/output cables
through these cable ties.
