CARE & MAINTENANCE
To ensure that your child car seat provides maximum protection, it is imperative
that you note the following:
• All major parts of the child car seat should be checked regularly for damage.
The mechanical components must be free of defects.
• It is absolutely necessary to ensure that the child car seat is not jammed
between hard elements such as the vehicle door or seat rail, which could
potentially damage it.
• When exposed to extreme shock, e.g. after a crash, the child car seat must be
checked by the manufacturer.
Ensure that only an original CBX seat cover is used, as the cover is a key
element of the seat's function. Spare covers can be obtained from a specialist
retailer.
REMOVING THE SEAT COVER
The seat cover consists of three parts which are fixed to the child seat either by
Velcro's, press buttons or button holes. Once you have released all fixations, the
cover parts can be removed.

!
WARNING! The child car seat must never be used without the cover.
REMOVING THE SEAT COVER FROM THE BACKREST
1. Pull the headrest (12) into its top position by using the release handle (13).
2. Now the cover can be removed.
