Models, specifications, and compatibility

QSFP+ optical transceiver modules provide a transmission rate of 40 Gbps and use Multifiber Push On
(MPO) connectors.
NOTE: 40G SR4 and eSR4 are not supported for use over MMF OM1 or OM2 quality fiber. (The
IEEE standard does not state a specification). Use MPO female connectors for use with the MPO
transceivers.
