Ⅳ. ADJUSTMENT
6. AWB L
A. Purpose
To get the proper White Balance for the Preset mode (daylight, cloudy, tungsten, fluorescent low, fluorescent high),
get the R/B gain from the Low Temperature and High Temperature standard light source and adjust the White
Balance.
And by getting the proper adjustment data of each mode, do the AWB algorithm and compensate the differences.
B. Behavior
◆ Adjusting the AWB Low Temp
[Description of the algorithm]
In 3000K color temperature of Tungsten light source, get the ideal WB gain and calculate
AWB key parameter of parts of low temperature by the linear conversion
[Standards for the Adjustment]
- Specification of the tools : Light source that can block the external light source
- Color temperature: 3300K±50
- Brightness : LV 8±0.2
①Do the adjustment under 3200K±50 (low color temperature) and the procedures are as followings.
[Caution] Most important thing is declinations between the lines. For example,
(1) A line:3000K, B line:3000K, C line:3100K
(2) A line:3100K, B line:3140K, C line:3060K
Data (2) seems bad , but for the AWB compensation, data (2) is better than data (1).
② The camera sets as Manual mode, AWB Auto, EV 0, ISO 100, Flash Off, F.no 2.8, Zooming Wide by the script.
③ WB data can get from the average of the R/B gain that comes from the several images. (5 images are standard
so far)
C. Spec (Standard for checking defect)
- This is maximum standard by PV3 and can be changed in the PR stage.
375 < Rgain < 455
588 < Bgain < 738
