2.8 Using the Electronic Cursor
(EBL1/EBL2)

Click either the "EBL1" or "EBL2" button of the Navigation Tools.
Either EBL1 or EBL2 is placed in the operating mode and the display of the button changes
from "OFF" to the azimuth position.

Move the cursor to the azimuth you want to set up inside the PPI.
The EBL moves according to the movement of the cursor and the button's azimuth position
display also changes.

Click.
The EBL is fixed in position.
To move the measurement reference point of the EBL

Click the EBL button you want to set up and activate the operating state.
The display of the EBL button you clicked changes from "OFF" to the azimuth position display of
the measurement reference point.

Click one of the Measurement Reference Point buttons for the EBL in the operating
state, and set the measurement reference point to either "C" or "D".

Click on a point where you want to set as the measurement reference point of the EBL.
The measurement reference point of the EBL you selected is confirmed.
To return the measurement reference point of the EBL to Own Ship's Position

Click the EBL button you want to set up and activate the operating state.
The display of the EBL button you clicked changes from "OFF" to the azimuth position display of
the measurement reference point.

Click one of the Measurement Reference Point buttons for the EBL in the operating
state, and set the measurement reference point to "blank".

Click on a point where you want to set as the measurement reference point of the EBL.
The measurement reference point of the EBL you selected becomes own ship's position.
