Remote control (RM-RK52)
This unit can be remotely controlled with an optionally
purchased remote control.
Aim the remote control directly to the remote sensor on the
unit. ( 3 or 4)
Pull out the insulation
sheet when using for
the first time.

Cancel the demonstration

When you turn on the power for the first time (or after you reset the unit), the display
shows:
KD-R492M:
"CANCEL DEMO" "PRESS" "VOLUME KNOB"

Press the volume knob.
[YES] is selected for the initial setup.

Press the volume knob again.
"DEMO OFF" appears.
KD-R491M:
"CANCEL DEMO" "PRESS ENTER"

Set the clock and date

Press and hold .

Perform 'select an item ( 3 or 4)' operation to select [CLOCK].

Perform 'select an item ( 3 or 4)' operation to adjust the clock.
[CLOCK ADJUST] set the hour and minute

Perform 'select an item ( 3 or 4)' operation to set the date.
[DATE SET] set the day, month and year

Press to exit.
To return to the previous setting item, press
[CLOCK FORMAT] [12H] or [24H]
