Health o meter Professional Scales recommends that assembly is performed by
two people.
Assembling the Patient Lifter
1. Remove the lifter base from carton 2
and place the lifter base on a flat, level
and dry surface. Remove the black
plastic protective cap from the lifter
mast. Locate the stretcher holder in
carton 1 and place it onto the lifter base.
2. Insert the bottom of the hydraulic pump
assembly into the pump sleeve on the
lifter base. The notch on the end of the
hydraulic pump assembly fits over the
round tube at the bottom of the pump
sleeve. Check that the pump assembly is
locked into position, and that the hole in
the pump assembly is aligned with the
threaded hole in the pump sleeve. When
assembled correctly, the pump assembly
will not be able to rotate.
3. Screw the black thumb screw into the
threaded hole in the pump sleeve.
Tighten to lock the pump assembly to the
lifter base.
