5. Unpacking and Placing the Unit

1. Prepare a water drainage channel around the foundation to drain waste water from around
2. If the unit is to be installed on a roof, check the strength of the roof and its drainage facilities
3. If the unit is to be installed on a frame, install the waterproofing board within a distance of

Installation Manual
Make sure the unit is installed level on a sufficiently strong base to prevent vibration and
noise.
Secure the unit to its base using foundation bolts. (Use four commercially available M12-
type foundation bolts, nuts, and washers.)
The foundation bolts should be inserted 20 mm.
Make sure the base under the unit extended more than 765mm behind the unit.
The height of the base should be at least 150mm from the floor.
The unit must be installed on a solid longitudinal foundation (steel beam frame
or concrete) as indicated in figure below.
