ECB Motor Damage
If appropriate installation steps are not followed while installing the ECB motor, the tension wire bracket
and/or internal motor gears can become damaged.

If the internal gears are damaged, a ticking or clicking noise may come from the motor.

The photo below shows a damaged tension wire bracket. It's not possible to repair the bracket, so
if this part is damaged, the motor must be replaced.
ECB Motor Tension Wire Orientation
When installed correctly, the tension wire loops down and then around the black wheel. The photo below
shows the motor in correct position when the unit is at the lowest resistance level.
