If the suction blower is used with a short suction pipe
(2-4 meter) and standard loading equipment on the
pressure side, the correct balance between grain and
air is obtained, when the line between the red and
green area is pointing against the inner lower corner
on the air regulator. Part of the red area will then also
be visible on the air regulator.

When the conveying distance is increased, more air
must be available in the pipe system to ensure a stable
conveying.
The optimum adjustment is therefore, when less and
less of the red area gets visible, as the conveying
distance is increased. The limit between the green
and the red area on the air regulator is therefore an
inclined line.
