Servicing procedures

When servicing an indicator with a serial number <510,000, replace parts with their like equivalent, with the following
exceptions:
LCD - If the LCD requires replacement, replace the whole indicator with a new one. This repair
warranty. To find out more, see the technical bulletin
website www.service.tru-test.com. The reason that the whole indicator must be replaced is that the new LCD does not fit
fit into the old case and there are also many other associated spare parts which are required to perform this repair. For this
reason, it is more economical to replace the entire indicator. If you have stock of old LCDs in your inventory, these should
be used up first.
PCA – The old PCA has been discontinued so when you order a new one, it will always be the same part, regardless of the
serial number. If you have stock of old PCAs in your inventory, these should be used up first.
When servicing an indicator with a serial number >510,000, replace parts with their like equivalent. Do not attempt to
fit parts that are only suitable for <510,000.
