6 TROUBLE SHOOTING
The Fast Distributing Field Sprayer uses a pressure circuit to deliver a chemical compound in solution to a series
of nozzles for application to crops. It is a simple and reliable system that requires minimal maintenance.
In the following section, we have listed many of the problems, causes and solutions to the problems that you
may encounter.
If you encounter a problem that is diffi cult to solve, even after having read through this trouble shooting section,
please call your local Fast Distributing dealer or distributor. Before you call, please have this Operator's Manual
and the serial number from your machine ready.
PROBLEM

System loses pressure.
Sprayer pressure too high.

CAUSE
Filter screen plugged.
Pump worn.
Faulty suction hose.
Faulty regulator.
Hose leaking.
Return hose plugged.
Faulty pressure sensor.
Faulty regulator.
Wrong agitation valve setting.
SOLUTION
Clean chemical line screens.
Check and repair or replace
pump.
Check for collapsed suction
hose. Replace hose.
Replace regulator.
Tighten hose or replace
hose.
Clean or replace hose.
Calibrate sensor. Replace
as required.
Repair or replace valve.
Open agitation valve
slightly until pressure goes
to required range.
