How to Align the Embossed Characters and Printed Image
1. First, print a card from the Tuning Utility screen so that you can determine what type of
adjustment is needed.
2. To align the FONT ID2 value, begin with the first character of the name which would be
the J in the figure below.
Hint: Use the CardOffsetX, CardOffsetY and the FontID2 Spacing options when aligning the
characters of the name. Increasing the CardOffsetX value will move the embossed characters
to the right and decreasing the CardOffsetY will move the embossed characters down. (If the
position of the embossed character will not align properly then the X_SPI value may need
adjustment, refer to X_SPI Adjustment section).
3. When the FONTID2 has been adjusted properly you will be ready to adjust the
FONTID1 value (see figure below). As the figure below indicates changing the
FONTID1Y will raise or lower the embossed characters and the FONTID1 Spacing
option will change the spacing of the characters.
