PRIOR TO INSTALLATION, PLEASE CONTACT THE MAGTEK HELP DESK

FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION ON THE EXPRESSCARD 1000.

SETUP

STEP ONE

Open the printhead by gently pulling

up on the (blue) release tabs.

CONTENTS

Two (2) Keys

Two (2) Card Weights

50 Blank White Cards

One (1) Printed Sample Card

One (1) Six-Foot Crossover Cable

One (1) AC Power Cable

One (1) Stylus (for monitor)

Thirteen (13) Encoder Cleaning Cards

Thirteen (13) Printer Cleaning Cards

Install Print Ribbon

Insert the printer ribbon by placing

the ribbon spools on the printer hubs.

Note: Match the green hubs to the

spool with the green ring.

Remove the beaded shipping

restraint before assembly.

Close the printhead by pressing it

Page 2 STEP THREE Load blank cards into the card hopper Connect the provided Ethernet cable. Connect the power cable and turn on the ExpressCard 1000 by pressing the right. Place the card weights on top of the stack as shown above. Print STEP FOUR Select [Samples].
