► Mount the KombiTool, @ 9.3.1.
► Check the blades for damage or other problems.
► Tighten all nuts, bolts and screws.

9 Assembling the Power Tool

9.1
Mounting and Adjusting the Loop Handle and
Barrier Bar
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury from loss of control, ensure that
the loop handle and barrier bar are properly and securely
mounted to the KombiEngine/KombiMotor you are using
before starting work.
To mount the loop handle and barrier bar:
► Mount and adjust the loop handle and barrier bar as
described in the manual of the KombiEngine/KombiMotor
you are using.

Connecting the Drive Tube to the Gearbox

To connect the drive tube to the gearbox:

► Pull the protective caps (1) off both ends of the drive
tube (2).
► Loosen the screw (6).

► Push the drive tube (2) into the gearbox (5) and rotate it
until the gear shaft (4) engages.
► Tighten the screw moderately.
► Align the drive tube so that the lug (3) faces up.
► Tighten down the screw firmly.
The drive tube need not be removed again.

Mounting and Removing the KombiTool

Mounting the KombiTool
To mount the KombiTool:

► Loosen the wing screw (1) on the coupling sleeve (2).
► Line up the lug (4) on the KombiTool with the slot (3) on
the coupling sleeve.
► Push the drive tube (5) into the coupling sleeve until the
red line (6) is flush with the coupling sleeve.
► Tighten down the wing screw firmly.
9.3.2
Removing the KombiTool
To remove the KombiTool:
► Attach the transport guard to the blades.
► Loosen the wing screw.
► Pull the drive tube out of the coupling sleeve.
