Problem
The cutting blade ro-
tates too slowly.
The cutting blade de-
rails.
The cutting blade is
twisted.
The segments break.
The cutting blade
cuts too slowly.

slips in the cut.

Causes
The tension of the support rollers is too tight.
The drive wheel is worn.
The inner diameter of the cutting blade is
worn.
The springs on the guide rollers are weak.
The guide roller bearings are defective.
The support roller bearings are defective.
The support rollers are too loose.
The guide rollers are worn.
The cutting blade is not installed correctly on
the guide rollers.
The cutting blade is damaged.
The tension of the support rollers is too tight.
The cutting blade is too hot.
The cutting blade is bent, twisted or the
maintenance is done incorrectly.
Incorrect cutting blade is used on the materi-
al to be cut.
The guide rollers do not move freely and
cannot push the cutting blade sufficiently
hard against the drive wheel.
The drive wheel is worn. Abrasive material
and not sufficient water when you operate
cause the drive wheel to wear faster.
The guide roller flange is worn. When more
than half of the width of the flange is worn,
the cutting blade slips.
The groove of the blade and inner edge are
worn. This is caused by lower flush of abra-
sive material and/or worn drive wheel.
Solution
Adjust the tension of the support rollers.
Examine the drive wheel for wear. If it is nec-
essary, replace the drive wheel.
Examine the cutting blade for wear. If it is
necessary, replace the cutting blade.
Replace the guide roller or speak to an ap-
proved service workshop.
Replace the guide roller and support roller or
speak to an approved service workshop.
Adjust the support rollers.
Examine the guide rollers for wear. If it is
necessary, replace the guide rollers.
Install the cutting blade again and make sure
that the cutting blade can rotate.
Examine the cutting blade for wear. If it is
necessary, replace the cutting blade.
Adjust the tension of the support rollers.
Do a check of the water flow. If it is necessa-
ry, adjust the water flow.
Examine the cutting blade for wear. If it is
necessary, replace the cutting blade.
Change to recommended cutting blade.
Make sure that the guide roller sleeves are
free to move in and out. If it is necessary, re-
move the guide rollers. Clean and lubricate
them before you install them again.
Examine the drive wheel for wear. If it is nec-
essary, replace the drive wheel.
Examine the guide rollers for wear. If it is
necessary, replace the guide rollers.
Examine the cutting blade, the drive wheel
and guide rollers for wear. If it is necessary,
replace the them.
Do a check of the water flow.
