NOTE
Activate the automatic mode only during the summer
months or shut off the cooling during the heating period
by means of a room thermostat.
Otherwise, it is possible that, depending on the location of
the outdoor sensor, the system will switch to cooling if the
outdoor temperature exceeds the set temperature.
NOTE
Automatic mode also means that during the summer
months the system automatically switches to heating
mode or to the operating mode selected in the "Heating"
program area as soon as the outdoor temperatures fall be-
low the set outdoor temperatures.
To ensure that the system does not start heating during
the summer months, the heating mode can be set to "Off".
 Part 1 of the controller manual, program area "Heating", sec-
tion "Setting the operating mode for the heating"

SET TEMPERATURES

Outd.TP release
Required Outdoor Temperature release
Above the set value, cooling is enabled for the duration of
the time set under "Parameters"
 Set parameter
set temperature MC1
Required set temperature for cooling in mixing circle 1
The setpoint determines the controlled variable for the con-
trolled cooling mixer if cooling is to take place as a function
of a fixed temperature. If cooling release is set as a function
of the outdoor temperature (set. AT), the menu field "Outd.
T-Dif1". Then enter a corresponding temperature spread in
Kelvin.
hysteresis cool contr
Menu field „Hysteresis cool contr" is shown only with re-
versible air/water-heatpumps.
target return cooling
Menu field "Target return cooling" is shown only for re-
versible air/water-heatpumps.

max. outs. temp. (maximum outside temperature)
Cooling starts in the "Automatic" operating mode if the
outdoor temperature is exceeded by 5 K for longer than
the time set under "max. outs. temp." or once
min. outs. temp. (minimum outside temperature)
Cooling is terminated in the "Automatic" operating mode
if the outdoor temperature falls below the set time for
"min. outs. temp." for longer than the outdoor temper-
ature
max. room. temp. (maximum room temperature)
This menu field for controlling cooling according to room
temperature as a function of the outdoor temperature
only appears if a room control unit (RBE) is available in
the system and the corresponding settings have been
made
NOTE
For brine/water- and water/water-heat pumps the cooling
will only be enabled if the brine inlet temperature is > 2 °C.
