4. Turn the trimmer head (H) counterclockwise to
attach.

To remove the trimmer head (535iFR, 535iRX)
1. Put the locking pin (C) in the hole to lock the shaft.
2. Turn the trimmer head (H) clockwise to remove it.
3. Remove the drive disc (B) from the output shaft.

To attach the trimmer head (535iRXT)
Note: To increase the life of the cord it can be soaked in
water for a couple of days before it is assembled. This
will make the cord tougher.
1. Put the locking pin into the hole to lock the shaft.
2. Attach the trimmer head.
3. Install the nut.
4. Install the line chute assembly.

5. Install the trimmer head.
To remove the trimmer head (535iRXT)
Note: To increase the life of the cord it can be soaked in
water for a couple of days before it is assembled. This
will make the cord tougher.
1. Put the locking pin in the hole to lock the shaft.
2. Press the snap-in clips on the trimmer head and
remove the trimmer head and trimmer line chute.
3. Remove the nut that holds the trimmer head and the
drive disc.
4. Remove the trimmer head.
Assembly of the saw blade guard and the saw
blade
To attach the saw blade guard (535iFR)
1. Attach the holder (A) and bracket (B) with 2 bolts (C)
on the gear housing (D).
