STARTING AND DRIVING THE VEHICLE
To Shift from 4H to 4L
1. Bring the vehicle to a complete stop and depress the clutch pedal.
2. Shift the four wheel drive selector lever to the 4L position.
To Shift from 4L to 4H
1. Bring the vehicle to a complete stop and depress the clutch pedal.
2. Shift the four wheel drive selector lever to the 4H position.
In heavy snow or when pulling a load, or for additional control at slower speeds,
select a low gear and/or shift the transfer case to the 4L range.
• Over-revving the engine can spin the wheels and traction will be lost
• Avoid abrupt gear shifts on slippery roads, engine braking may cause skidding and
loss of control

To Release the lacking hubs
• Shift from 4WD to 2WD
• Reverse the vehicle in a stright line for about a meter
• An auidble 'Click' will indicate that the hubs have been released
• Unlocking is necessarily required to be done to isolate front axle & transfer case
10.7.4 Do's and Don'ts
Do's:
• While the system is shift-on-the-fly between 2H-4H-2H, it is a good practice to
