• protect the rope in the splicing area (on the hook side) with a shrink hose or protective cover
• do not use the rope to make constrictor knots

• care of synthetic ropes:
o Impregnate the ropes every 2 months or every 30 winch operations, whichever comes
first. Products can be found in the range of specialist retailers or you can use the Lubi-Fill
waterproofing spray. As a result, no dust particles or water occur, UV resistance and lubrication
is also improved. If possible, keep the rope in the vehicle to protect it from unnecessary
pollution and UV light.
o Do not wash synthetic ropes in the washing machine or spray with the pressure cleaner.
o Wash dirty ropes with a mild soap liquor by hand.

the rope, the flax wire can break as a result
• exchange defect ropes – danger to life
• lubricate the rope every 2 months or every 30 winch operations, whichever comes first.
• Steel cable must always be wound up in full layers, otherwise the rope will break.
