Important
Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance
and save it for future reference.
1.1 Danger
• N ever immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid,
nor rinse it under the tap.
1.2 Warning
• A void touching the blade, especially when the blender bar is
attached to the motor unit. The blade is very shape.
• I f the blade get stuck, remove the blender bar from the
motor unit before you remove the ingredients that block the
blade.
• K eep fingers, hair, clothing, and utensils away from the
moving parts.
• D o not switch on the appliance when you attach or detach
accessories.
• N ever use a damaged hand blender. Get it checked or
repaired in your local place.
• N ever use an unauthorized attachment. If you use such
accessories or parts, your guarantee becomes invalid.
• T his appliance is not intended for use by persons(including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervised or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
• C hildren should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with this appliance.
• N ever let the cord to touch hot surfaces or hang down where
a child could grab it.
• N ever blend hot oil or fat.

• D o not use your hand blender with heavy mixtures for longer
than 30 seconds in any 3 minutes period, it will overheat.
• T his appliance is intended for household use only.

Using your hand blender
3.1 Blending
Thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food
before you use the appliance for the first time(see chapter
'Cleaning').

The hand blender is intended for:
• B lending fluids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices,
soups, mixed drinks and shakes.
• M ixing soft ingredients, e.g. pancake batter or mayonnaise.
• P ureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making baby food.
3.2 Important
• T ake the saucepan off the heat and let it cool slightly.
Otherwise, your hand blender could overheat.
• F it the motor unit(B) inside the blender bar(C). ('click')
• P lug in the power cable. To avoid splashing, place the blade
in the food before switching on.
• D o not let liquid get above the join between the motor unit
and blender bar.
• M ove the blade through the food and use a stabbing action.
• I f your hand blender gets blocked, unplug the power cable
before cleaning.
• A fter use, unplug the power cable and dismantle.

Cleaning
• A lways switch off and unplug the power cable before
cleaning.
• D o not touch the sharp blade.
• T ake special care when preparing food for babies, the
elderly and infirm people. Always ensure that the blender
bar is thoroughly sterilized. Use a sterilizing solution in
accordance with the sterilizing manufactures instruction.
• S ome foods, such as eggs or carrot, may discolor the plastic.
Rubbing with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil helps remove
discoloration.
