Upper
Drum (Upper
Cylinder)

Removal
Remove
the two
screws @ (see Fig. 5-1 1-3).
In
case
the
RE (ROTARY
ERASE) HEAD
is
attached
to the upper drum (UPPER CYLINDER),
remove
the lead wires
soldered
from
the P.C.
board (see Fig. 5-11 -4.).
Turn
the head removing
jig (VHJ-0041 ) handle
@ counterclockwise
to lift up the stopper@
(see
Fig. 5-11 -5.).
Insert
the two
long
screws @ of the jig
into
the screw holes @ located on the head chip side
of the upper drum (UPPER CyLINDER) @, then
mount
by turning
the handle
clockwise.
While
holding
the jig so that
the upper drum
@ does not rotate, turn the handle @ clockwise
to remove
the upper drum.
Remove
the jig from
the upper drum.
Note : Handle parts carefully
to protect
the drum
from scratches
and dirt, and the video head
from
damage.
