Mode Cam (See Fig. 5-4-2.)

Removal
1)
Set the INITIAL
mode with
the mode selector
(VHJ-0050).
2)
Remove the REINFORCE BRACKET as instructed
in 5-4-1.
3)
Remove the two stop washers 0, then
remove
the CAM PLATE SLIDE ASS*Y @.

Remove the MODE CAM 0

Remounting

Referring
to 5-4-1., confirm
that the MAIN CAM
is in the INITIAL
mode
position.
In case the MAIN CAM
is misplaced,
use the
mode
selector
(VHJ-0050)
to
align
the
MAIN
CAM
positioning
hole with
the chassis
INITIAL
mode
position
hole (refer
to
5-4-1.
for
the
INITIAL
mode
position ).
Since
the
ROTARY
SWITCH (mode detector
switch) does not rotate,
the mode selector
indicator
lamp will not show
the correct
mode.
Align
the
ROTARY
SWITCH
( mode
detector
switch)
@ with
the INITIAL mode position
mark
@ as shown
in Fig. A.
Mount
the MODE CAM 0 onto
the axle @. Do
it so that the SLIDE CAM ASS'Y pin @ is placed
in the GROOVE 3 as shown
in Fig. B.
Mount
the CAM
PLATE SLIDE ASS'Y @ onto
the axles @ and 0.
Do it so that
the
pin @

gets into the GROOVE 4 of the MODE CAM as

Mount

Mount
