This infrared port is compatible with Infrared Data Asso-
ciation (IrDA 1.1) standards. It enables cableless 4 Mbps,
1.15 Mbps, 115.2 Kbps, 57.6 Kbps, 38.4 Kbps, 19.2 Kbps
or 9.6 Kbps data transfer with IrDA 1.1 compatible external
devices.
Slide this switch toward the front of the computer to turn
off Wireless LAN function. Slide it toward the back of the
computer to turn on the functions (Wireless LAN model or
Wireless LAN ready model only).
This indicator glows orange when the Wireless LAN
function is on (Wireless LAN model or Wireless LAN
ready model only).

This jack lets you connect digital speakers or a stereo
headphone (16 ohm minimum). When you connect a digital
speaker or headphones, the internal speaker is automati-
cally disabled.
A 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables connection of a
three-conductor mini jack for monaural microphone input.
